UK Yankee is the product of trying to fulfill a need. At the end of 1999, a site like this could not be found, and the founder wanted to help others, who like them, had questions to ask about this adventure.

Nearing the tenth anniversary of the start of UK Yankee, there are hundreds of active members, a diverse community of all ages and abilities.
