Warmer welcome for foreign talent

A Government scheme to attract foreign entrepreneurs to the UK by opening doors to contacts and streamlining immigration applications is to expand from April. The Global Entrepreneurs Programme, which has been piloted by UK Trade and Investment, part of the Department of Trade and Industry, since January 2003 has until now targeted individuals based in the US and India.
