Frequently Asked Questions

* My activation link doesn't work, what do I do?

Sometimes your email client will wrap a link to the next line so that when you click on it, it doesn't use the full address and only gets part of it, which makes it wrong. If this happens, you can copy and paste the full text carefully making sure it puts all of the line into the browser address bar, or by clicking the shorter link and putting the activation code in manually. If you're still having trouble with activation, please contact us and we'll sort this out for you. Be sure to include the email address or username that you registered with so we can find the right account.

* Can't stay logged in?

This is a cookie problem. Cookies must be enabled to help the website know that you are logged in. Please make sure you have cookies enabled in your browser. If cookies are enabled and you can't stay logged in, it's possible that the login cookies became corrupt somehow, computers sometimes scramble these. You will need to delete the uk-yankee.com cookies or all cookies, close your browser and restart it. If it persists, do the above once more, but restart your computer as well. If after this you are still having problems, please contact us and we'll try to help you. You'll need to add your email address so that we can replay, and it will also help if you tell us what browser and version you're using. If you're not sure, copy and paste the info from browserreport.com.

* I haven't received an account activation email, it's not in my junk/spam folder either?

Sometimes emails get marked as spam even if they're not, please check your junk/spam folders first. Some email servers reject suspected spam before it even reaches your mailbox, this is currently an issue we've been having with AOL email users. If it is still not to be found, please send us a message and we can help. Be sure to include your correct email address so that we can respond.
