UK Yankee has partnered with Primus Telecommunications so that you can make long distance phone calls to the USA for 2p per minute, with a portion of your call charges going to charity or to help fund UK Yankee! Charter Members are also eligible for a 20% rebate on call charges to the standard access number.
NO pre-pay or top-ups, NO credit cards, the charges appear on your usual landline bill. Call quality is top, and UK Yankee recommends Primus as one of the best providers around, used extensively by the site admin for 5 years.
For those who elect to use the Call for Charity access numbers, 25% of your call charges will go to charity. The elected charity/cause is to be chosen by poll on UKY to allow members to choose organisations that have touched their lives or deserve funds.
