I am told that the green tomatoes taste like apples in this recipe.
| 1 | Cup | butter |
| 2 1⁄2 | Cup | sugar |
| 3 | eggs | |
| 3 | Cup | flour |
| 1 | Teaspoon | baking powder |
| 1 1⁄2 | Teaspoon | cinnamon |
| 1 | Teaspoon | salt |
| 1⁄2 | Teaspoon | nutmeg |
| 2 1⁄2 | Cup | green tomatoes (diced) |
| 1 | Cup | raisins |
| 1 | Cup | walnuts (chopped) |
Preheat oven to 350*F, Grease and flour a bundt pan. Beat butter and sugar with electric mixer, add eggs one at a time, mixing after each.
In a medium bowl combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating well. Stir in tomatoes, raisins and nuts. Spoon batter into pan.
Bake for 70-75 minutes until done. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove, let cool completely.
