About Wiki

What is it? A wiki is a collection of web pages that can be edited by readers like you! Would you like to help? Don’t be afraid to edit. You can’t break it. Try it out in our sandbox area and then find something to fix, grammar, formatting, or adding useful information to our pages.

We have a wiki playground called the Sandbox where you can practice using the wiki syntax. It is similar to posting in a forum, there are special tags and buttons to help you use them.

You must be logged in and have at least 25 forum posts to edit, this is to prevent spamming. Please remember that you are editing our webpages, and only make changes that improve the page. Changes can be undone if deemed inappropriate or inaccurate, and likewise, comments may be removed.

If you’d rather leave a comment, that’s fine too. Comments may later be moved to the wiki portion of the page. And most of all, thank you for your contribution!

Subscribing

If you are interested in any single page and updates to it, logged in users can subscribe to be notified by email by clicking the Subscribe button next to the search box. otherwise, there is an rss subscription link at the bottom to our recent changes feed.

Printing

These pages are printer friendly. Just click Print Preview in your browser and you will see that the ads and menus are not there.

From time to time, there may be wiki contest prizes for those who make substantial contributions. Contributions become property of UK Yankee. Advertising must be pre-approved by management, spam is not welcome.
