This is a family favorite at Thanksgiving and Christmas. I try to make several and give them as gifts.
| 3 | Cup | flour |
| 3 | Cup | sugar |
| 2 | Teaspoon | baking soda |
| 1 | Teaspoon | salt |
| 1 | Teaspoon | cinnamon |
| 1 | Teaspoon | nutmeg |
| 1 | Cup | crisco oil (or substitue) |
| 4 | eggs | |
| 2⁄3 | Cup | water |
| 2 | Cup | pumpkin |
| 1 | Cup | pecans |
Mix all ingredients in order. Line pans with waxed or parchment paper and also grease pans with Pam(or substitute). Bake 1 hr. at 350 F (or equivalent in the UK). Makes 2 loaves or 1 tube pan.
