Young Democrats Abroad Re-Inaugurate Obama Fundraiser

Date:
20 January, 2012 - 19:00 - 22:00

366 days from January 20th, 2012, Democrats around the world are hoping to re-inaugurate President Obama and ensure the Democratic vision for the upcoming 4 years. The Democrats Abroad Young Professional’s Network invite you to come raise a glass, a bit of money, and a lot of hope for the kick off of the UK's efforts to re-elect the President. The Young Professionals Network is hosting a sparkling, engaging and elegant evening of entertainment in support of the Democratic Party Committee Abroad in its efforts to get out the vote in 2012. The event, hosted at the Proud Galleries on King's Road, will be a great opportunity to get a bit dressed up, come mingle with fellow Democrats and support the campaign!

In honor of our 44th President, tickets are priced at $44 and can be purchased online shortly. We will be in touch with further details shortly.

Non-US citizen spouses and guests are very welcome, but due to laws governing the operation of US political parties tickets may be purchased only by US citizens and US permanent residents ("Green Card" holders).

Democrats Abroad UK is the official arm of the US Democratic Party in the UK. The Young Professionals Network is a branch of Democrats Abroad UK which exists to provide a space for ex-pats to meet, network, create community, and discuss politics on both sides of the Atlantic. We hold a monthly drinks gathering as well as special events such as a State of the Union viewing party, immigration workshops and initiatives to get out the vote.
