The tenth anniversary of the terrorist atrocities in the US will fall on 11 September 2011. 'Awareness Sunday' will be an opportunity for remembrance, reconciliation and better relationships with those of other faiths.

The Awareness Foundation has been asked by the BBC to lead the regular Sunday Morning worship programme on Radio 4 on Sunday 11 September 2011. The service will be led by our clergy with Dr Courtney Cowart, a 9/11 survivor.

U.S. Ambassador Louis B. Susman would like to invite the American community to participate in the annual Thanksgiving Day Service at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Thursday, November 24th. The event will be a non-denominational, American-style service, organized by the American Church in London (ACL). Ambassador Susman will be giving a speech following the service.

An open invitation to attend the ceremony is extended to Elected Members and other Representatives of the Fire & Rescue Service, Standard Bearers and Ceremonial Squads, as well as all members of the wider Fire & Rescue Service community, together with the families of those who are remembered on the Memorial.
